Venudhwani is a concept on Indian Flute Music series which is made to preserve the heritage of Music Instrument Flute (Bansuri) and its various forms.
Venudhwani comprises of two words as Venu (BAMBOO) + Dhwani (SOUND) means the sound of Bamboo. It is one of the oldest musical instruments of India.
The series’s volumes offer variety of artists and different genres of flute music in a single album. Popular artists who performed in the albums are Pandit Mahavir Prasad (disciple of Pandit Hariprasad chaurasia), Pandit Sunder Lal Gandharv, Kumar Gandharva, Pandit Subash Nirwan and various other artists.
Venudhwani album concept is to preserve these various bamboo colors (flute) from wider territories.
